National Honors Society

Letters of invitation have been delivered to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who are eligible to be in NHS and who are not already members.  Applications are by invitation only and are available from Miss March or from the link below.  Applications are due on February 20, 2013. 

NHS Induction is required for all current members as well as all applicants who are accepted.  Induction will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.

The National Honor Society upholds excellence in these four areas: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. In compliance with the third of these four values, NHS members must serve for a minimum of 20 hours per semester. Any voluntary service without compensation is acceptable, but 8 of the 20 hours must be school-related. Please find the NHS hours sheet attached at the bottom of this article.

Summer/Fall hours will be due December 7.

Spring hours will be due May 10.

The CSCS chapter of the National Honor Society is sponosred by Ms. Carol March.  This year's NHS President is senior Matt E.. Vice President is senior Travis V. and Secretary/Treasurer is David H.
