Home School Students

Dear Home School Families,

CSCS has an excellent reputation in our community for providing a Christ-centered, biblical perspective to lifelong learning. Through our home school programs, CSCS partners with families who feel called to provide that same type of education at home.

It is our desire to be able to provide encouragement and support to local Christian home school families. Our programs offer several different options to meet your family's needs.

For over 25 years, CSCS has offered an umbrella program for home school families. This popular service provides curriculum counseling, record keeping, individual mentoring, and support group meetings for those families with students in grades K-8. Achievement testing is done no earlier than the last week of March. There are also field trips, academic workshops, and other activities for the students.

At the middle school level (grade 6-8), home school students are given the opportunity to take up to two classes on campus daily with the full-time students. Umbrella services are included. This program allows parents to supplement their own academic program with high-quality instruction by excellent Christian faculty. It also provides a part-time school environment, while preserving some of the flexibility that home schooling offers. Admittance will be based on class availability. There is also the opportunity to participate in some interscholastic sports, which require a separate sports fee.
