Accommodations:
Both the College Board (SAT) and ACT programs allow for accommodations for students with documented disabilities. Accommodations may include extended time or large print. The evaluations by credentialed professionals must be current. The academic portion of the evaluation must have been completed within five years. Psychiatric disabilities require an annual evaluation. The evaluations to be considered by the testing boards must be comprehensive and include functional limitations supported by test results in the recommendation. Specific accommodations must be listed and then submitted to the counseling office at school. Students only need apply to the testing service they desire once for their high school career. The decision to grant accommodations rests solely with the testing boards.
