CSCS Home School Programs |

It is our desire to be able to provide encouragement and support to local Christian home school families. Our programs offer several different options to meet your family’s needs. For 20 years, CSCS has offered an umbrella program for home school families. This popular service provides curriculum counseling, record-keeping, individual mentoring, and support group meetings for those families with students in grades K-8. Achievement testing is done each April. There are also monthly field trips and other activities for the students. At the middle school level (grades 6-8), home school students are given the opportunity up to two classes on campus daily with the full-time students. Umbrella services are included. This program allows parents to supplement their own academic program with high-quality instruction by excellent Christian faculty. It also provides a part-time school environment, while preserving some of the flexibility that home schooling affords. Admittance will be based on class availability. There is also the opportunity to participate in some interscholastic sports, which require a separate sports fee. CSCS will also be allowing “non-traditional” students to take classes at the high school this fall.
