Grades K-12

  • At least one parent or guardian for each applicant must give a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior, both on the application form and in an admission interview.
  • Applicants for grades 9-12 must give a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior, both on the application form and in an admission interview.
  • Applicants for grades 6-12 must give a clear indication of their desire to attend CSCS.
  • Applicant’s family must regularly attend an evangelical, Bible-centered church.
  • Applicant’s parents or guardians must agree to CSCS’ Doctrinal Statement, Core Values and Statement of Faith and Christian Beliefs, understanding that it is the foundation and purpose for why CSCS exists.
  • Applicant’s parents or guardians must agree to support and adhere to all school policies.
  • Applicants applying for grades 1-12 must score within the average range or above nationally for the current grade level on a standardized test.
  • Applicants applying for Kindergarten will be required to take some form of entrance testing.
  • Colorado Springs Christian Schools admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, athletic programs, and other school-administered programs.

Applicants who will not be considered for admission to CSCS

  • Those whose families attend churches that deny the deity of Jesus Christ, or that believe any extra-biblical revelation is authoritative.
  • Those applying for grades K-12 whose needs are beyond what CSCS can adequately meet for the student’s success.

Additional information may be required before a decision is made regarding:

  • Those who have been suspended or have behavioral problems at the previous school.
  • Those whose special education needs may not be adequately met with CSCS’ current program and facilities.

HIGH SCHOOL (GRADES 9-12)

When all application materials and recommendations forms have arrived, and if student space is available, the grade level administration offices will schedule an interview with the principal. Applicants for Grades 6-12 are expected to accompany parents to this interview. After completion of the interview you will be notified if your child(ren) has/have been accepted.

Submit Tuition Assistance Application (if applicable). Acceptance Fee must be paid prior to the awarding of Tuition assistance.

Upon acceptance, a one-time, non-refundable New Student Acceptance Fee of $250 per student is due. This fee reserves the student’s place in the class. Acceptance fee must be paid prior to the awarding of financial assistance. For families enrolling more than three students, the maximum amount charged would be $750.

A Tuition Contract will be generated. Please complete and return the signed Tuition Contract within ten (10) Business days of the date the contract was prepared or prior to student starting school, whichever comes first. Doing this will officially enroll the student as a new student at CSCS. Notwithstanding completion of the Tuition Contract, CSCS reserves the right to deny a student admission for financial, behavioral, or academic probation reasons.

Student/Class fees will be assessed, depending on what courses are taken, at Registration prior to the start of school.

For your application to be considered complete, recommendations (one for Kindergarten applicants, two for Grade 1-5 applicants, and four for Grade 6-12th applicants) must be submitted. Please review the appropriate Student Checklist for exact recommendation requirements.

Please help our Admissions Office by having these recommendations submitted electronically. This is our preferred method is to have recommendations completed online; it is “green” and reduces the administrative burden for all parties – you, the recommenders and us. It notifies your recommenders of due dates, lets you know when your recommendation has been completed, and can transmit recommendations electronically. You can even include background information when you request a recommendation to assist your recommender in personalizing your form.
