We are a community of students, parents, and teachers working together to make our school warm, fun-filled, and family- focused.  Our PTO has ongoing opportunities in a variety of volunteer positions where you can become involved at CSCS. If you are an approved volunteer (meaning you have completed the required online background and reference check steps), then you can participate in any activities at our campus.

If you haven’t completed this process, there are still many ways to be involved. Watch the Mountain Messenger or contact Stephanie Goodwin 719-200-7024 Goodwin_steph@yahoo.com for ideas.

To become an approved volunteer, go to the CSCS website at Volunteer Guidelines to learn more.

CSCS Woodland Park is proud to be able to offer a Hot Lunch program for our students and staff.

On Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s throughout the year, lunch is served.  Milk or juice is also offered Monday through Friday. The menu will offer a variety of food, and change throughout the year based on what the students enjoy.  Last year’s favorites included pasta, soups, hamburgers, pizza, hot dogs, and nachos.  Each meal also includes a beverage, fruit, and vegetable. Ordering hot lunch (or beverages) for your student(s) is done ahead of time through a simple on-line ordering system.

You will be notified throughout the year via the Mountain Messenger when it is time to submit an order.  The Hot Lunch Program is entirely volunteer-based, the school does not have the ability to have its staff cook or serve the food.  Please offer to help out to keep this program successful, even if it’s just once a month, it’s a huge help.

Volunteers receive a free lunch, and more importantly, get the opportunity to eat with their child and get to know their friends.

PTO Board

CSCS would like to welcome our newest member of the PTO Board, Barbara Leibla – Hot Lunch Coordinator.

Mr. Aragon Gets Creamed

Our PTO sponsored a Move-A-thon fundraiser, which will allow us to get a new audio-visual system for our chapel.  Since we met our goal Mr. Aragon agreed to get “whipped creamed” by the students.  It was a fun time for all.
