Art Day

On March 17th we had Art Day.  Each student created up to eight different arts and crafts projects in one afternoon.  Most of them were completed that day, but some were just started like the masks for the 3rd through 5th graders.  These will be painted and decorated in art class.  Thanks so much to the volunteers who made this day a success!

Art from the Masters

On September 24th the Woodland Park students had the extraordinary privilege of getting a private tour of 35 paintings from the great masters of art.  Dr. Chuck Hill from the Hill Family Trust brought some of his art collection to our campus and gave an unbelievable presentation of the history of the artists and his personal journey in collecting his art over the last 40 years.  Dr. Hill brought paintings and sculptures from artists including Raphael, Rembrandt, Van Dyke, Russell, Rockwell, Van Gogh, Degas, Whistler, Renoir, Matisse, Picasso, Dali, Pollack and many more.  Our students were truly blessed.
