CSCS offers a wide variety of sports for each athlete and their talents. The sports that are played and enjoyed by middle school students are cross-country, volleyball, soccer, football, basketball, wrestling, and track.  See attachments below for the All Sports Fall Schedule,  driving directions to other schools, and game schedules. All athletes must have a current physical (within the last year) and proof of insurance in order to participate in a sport, and complete the Athletic Forms Packet (see attachment below). If you do not have insurance, a waiver must be signed.

Note: Student athletes leaving early for a sport are responsible for turning assignments due and also for obtaining any homework/assignments from their teacher before they leave. They will not be excused from assignments or be allowed to turn them in late because they are in a sport.

See the appropriate link below for schedules.

Sports offered at CSCS Middle School:

  • Cross-Country is run in the fall and is offered to any 6th, 7th or 8th grader who would like to participate.

  • Volleyball is a very popular sport at CSCMS. We have the option of enter teams in two different leagues. It is also played in the fall.

  • CSCS forms one 6th,7th and 8th grade combined team. Boys will play in the fall and girls in the spring.

  • Football is played in the fall.  If there is enough interest, we form a CSCS team and enter into the Central Colorado league.  If we are not able to form a complete team, we join with a local club team in order to participate. Football is open to any 7th or 8th grade middle school boy.

  • Basketball is one of the most popular sports at CSCMS. For 6th grade, everybody who opts to play will be in a league called CSAL (Christian Schools Athletic League). In CSAL, you will play other Christian schools in the area. For 7th and 8th graders, there are two leagues, CSAL and Central Colorado league. In the Central Colorado league, an A and a B team will play other public schools from around the area. Basketball is played in the winter and is a very enjoyable experience for everyone.

  • Wrestling is available to any middle school boy and is offered in late winter and early spring. 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys will compete with public schools from around the area. 6th grade boys also have the option of wrestling in the Christian School League.

  • Track is run in the spring and is open to all 7th and 8th graders.
